This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on haku-core.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
The marketing pages you are reading now set no cookies at all. Cookies begin only when you sign in or change a preference.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do similar jobs. We describe all of them together as "cookies" here.
2. What we use
- Strictly necessary — session
- Keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Expires when you sign out, or after 30 days. Cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
- Strictly necessary — language
- Remembers whether you chose English or 繁體中文 so we can send you to the right version. Expires after one year.
- Strictly necessary — payment
- Our payment processor sets a cookie during checkout to detect fraud and to keep the checkout session together. Set only when you enter checkout.
- Analytics — optional
- Aggregate page-view and performance measurement, so we can tell which pages are broken or slow. Set only if you accept analytics. Expires after 12 months.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party ad networks, and we do not build cross-site profiles.
3. Your choices
- Where consent is required by law, we ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary, and we treat no answer as no consent.
- You can change your choice at any time from the cookie link in the site footer.
- Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.
- We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as an opt-out of any non-essential processing.
